Issue 8 is an adult coloring book comprising 30 illustrations hand-drawn by Mwiza Rudasingwa and Risograph printed by the Blacks Rule team in Los Angeles.
Due to white supremacy and its many cousins, the world is becoming increasingly uninhabitable for Black people. It’s necessary that we all cultivate coping mechanisms that don’t involve our phones, laptops, or the internet. We won’t free ourselves or our communities by doom-scrolling for 8 hours a day and binge-watching whatever-the-fuck on Amazon Prime.
Actual rest and the joy that comes from nurturing your inner child are necessary for the continued fight against anti-blackness.
